(12 Oct. 1926 - 9 May 2009) MARKESAN -- Theresa M. Cattanach (nee Spaulding) 82, died Sat. May 9, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Markesan. Friends and family may visit the church today from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Grand Prairie Cemetery in Green Lake Township. Wachholz Family Funeral Home in Markesan is handling arrangements. Theresa was born in Marshfield on Oct. 12, 1926, to Eleanor (nee Stoegbauer) and Lloyd Spaulding. During World War II she worked in the Manitowoc Shipyards welding submarines while the men were at war. She then returned to Marshfield, where she worked at Normington's. She was married to Craig Cattanach on Oct. 20, 1956, in Milwaukee. Craig preceded her in death. Theresa is survived by one son, Glenn (Alyssa) Cattanach of Princeton; one daughter, Suzanne Buhrow of Fond du Lac; six grandchildren; and one sister, Blanche Wix of Marshfield. |
