----Surnames: Regel, Rinzel, Haen, Kraus, Kaas ----Source: Marshfield News Herald, Marshfield, Wood Co., WI, Tues., 14 June 1988 Regel, Esther (17 Sept. 1909 - 13 June 1988) WEST BEND - Esther Regel, 78, West Bend, died Mon. at the Greentree Hospice Center in Milwaukee. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wed. at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend. The Rev. Jerome Rinzel and the Rev. Edmund Haen will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wed. until time of services. The family requests that spiritual bouquets be used as memorials. The Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend handled arrangements. She was born Sept. 17, 1909, in Bakerville, to Joseph and Anna Regel. She worked as a domestic housekeeper for the Rev. Francis Kraus in Marshfield for 38 years. In 1963, she moved to West Bend and in 1970 she retired.
