Ohm, 87, of rural Marshfield, died Fri., Nov. 7, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tues., Nov. 11, 2008, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hewitt. The visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Mon. at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI) and Tues. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hewitt, from 11 a.m. until the service. ********************* ----Source: Marshfield News Herald, Marshfield, Wood Co., WI, Mon., 10 Nov. 2008 Clara M. Ohm, 87, of rural Marshfield, died Fri., Nov. 7, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tues., Nov. 11, 2008, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hewitt where Clara faithfully attended and served for over seventy years. The Rev. Dean Pingel will officiate. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. The visitation will be on Mon. from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI) and Tues. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hewitt, from 10 a.m. until the service. Clara was born Jan. 2, 1921, in Athens to Robert and Clara (Greve) Mittelstaedt. She attended Athens schools until her family moved to a farm near Marshfield in 1936. She graduated from Marshfield High School in 1938. She married Orville Ohm on Aug. 11, 1945, following his service in the United States Navy. They enjoyed 63 years of marriage at their rural Marshfield home. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She is survived by her husband, Orville, her daughter, Marilyn (John) of Alameda, Calif., her son, Allan (Katie) of Onalaska and two grandchildren, Mark and Molly Ohm. She is also survived by a sister, Doris Eberhard of Green Bay and a brother, Wilbert Mittelstaedt of Marshfield and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by four sisters and one brother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hewitt or to Camp Luther.
