Martin D. Dillinger, 93, of Auburndale died Tues., Nov. 11, 2008, at Bethel Center, Arpin. Arrangements are pending at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI), Marshfield.

AUBURNDALE -- Martin D. Dillinger, 93, Auburndale, died Tues., Nov. 11, 2008, at Bethel Center, Arpin.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Mon., Nov. 17, 2008, at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI), Marshfield, with the Rev. Mark Lundgren officiating. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Auburndale, where military rites will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 10162 of Auburndale.

The visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time Mon. at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI).

He was born June 15, 1915, in Auburndale to Wenzel and Ida (Becker) Dillinger. He attended Sun.ine School in Auburndale. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He had farmed and worked as a logger. He also worked as a mason.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Dillinger of Marshfield and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, eight brothers and one sister.
