Knutson, 42, of Auburndale died Mon., March 2, 2009, at the Palliative Care Unit at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Fri., March 6, 2009, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Auburndale, with the Rev. Eric Linzmaier. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Auburndale. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thur. at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI), Marshfield, and again from 9:30 a.m. until service time Fri. at the church. Tim was born July 9, 1966, in Marshfield to Douglas E. and Marlene A. (Kliegle) Knutson. He attended schools in Auburndale, graduating in 1984. He went on to school at the La Crosse Technical College earning an associate degree in refrigeration. Tim had very strong work ethics while employed most of his life as a heavy equipment operator. He was currently employed at Auburndale Recycling Center. Tim had been a very proud member of the Auburndale Joint Fire Department and was Fire Chief for many years. He also spent many hours working for the Auburndale Music Fest and the Auburndale Park Association. Tim's hobbies included working with engines, fishing and working in the woods, thus came the nickname, "Timberr." He enjoyed being outside in any weather. Tim married Joyce Cieslewicz in Auburndale and later divorced. He is survived by his son, Clayton John of Auburndale; mother, Marleen Knutson of Auburndale; brothers, Blaine (Debbie) Knutson of La Crescent, Minn. and their daughter Karissa; Mark (Ann) Knutson of De Pere and their children Kelsey, Charlie and Nathan; one sister, Lynn Knutson Seboe of Plover. He is further survived by his beloved dog, Matrassa, aunts, uncles and cousins. Tim was preceded in death by his father, brother-in-law, Art Seboe, maternal and paternal grandparents. Say "Hi" to my husband and your dad, Doug. May you both enjoy the laughter you shared on this earth. May the Sun.lways shine upon you and keep you warm.
