(Sullivan) O'Hara, 66, of Palatine, Ill., formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, died Fri., Feb. 27, 2009. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mon., March 2, 2009, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine, and again from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tues. at the Holy Family Church, 2515 W. Palatine Road, Inverness, Ill. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Kathleen was born Jan. 29, 1943, in Wisconsin Rapids. She earned her bachelor's and master's degree from National Louis University. She taught at Palatine High School for 15 years. She enjoyed traveling but mostly spending time with her family. She was the beloved wife of John O'Hara for 43 years; loving mother of Moira (James) Wiora, Kathleen (Christopher) Henning, Jacqueline (Lynda) O'Hara, Molly (Charles) Pack, John (Melissa) O'Hara and Timothy (Alla) O'Hara; cherished grandmother of 14; dear sister of John Patrick (Mary) Sullivan and Mary Ellen (Phillip) Rickie; and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Infectious Disease Research Institute, 1124 Columbia St., No. 400, Seattle, WA 98104, would be appreciated.
