----Surnames: Fuller, Ndugbu, Osowski, Schivoni, Elgersma, Winters, Bushmaker, Johnson ----Source: Marshfield News Herald, Marshfield, Wood Co., WI, Mon., 13 Mar. 2006 Fuller, Bernadette Lynn (7 Aug. 1965 – 11 Mar. 2006) Bernadette “Bernie’ Lynn Fuller, 40, died Sat. March 11, 2006, at noon at the Riverview Manor. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wed. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in the town of Sigel. The Revs. Jude Ngugbu and Chester Osowski will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery immediately following the service. Bernie was born Aug. 7, 1965, in Marshfield, to Jim and Judy (Schivoni) Fuller, 6141 Lundberg Road, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495. She was born with Friedrich’s Ataxia, which is a degenerative muscle disease. Despite her disabilities, Bernie lived a life full of family, friends and humor. She attended Vesper Elementary and St. Lawrence grade school. She graduated from Assumption High School in 1984. After graduation, she lived at home with her parents until the age of 32. At that time, she moved into the Riverview Manor. Bernie loved her numerous dogs and cats and being outdoors. Fishing was her greatest hobby. She loved reading, especially anything that involved the outdoors and animals. She loved to watch fishing and outdoor programs on TV. Bernie had a great sense of humor and never felt sorry for herself. She kept a positive attitude even when faced with great challenges because of her disability. She enjoyed her large and active family and watching her nieces and nephews grow up. The wonderful staff at Riverview Manor became her extended family, with whom she became very close. Survivors include her parents, Jim and Judy Fuller; two sisters, Kim (David) Elgersma, Vesper; and Amy (Gregg) Winters, Wisconsin Rapids; one brother, Jim (Julie) Fuller, Elk Mound; nieces and nephews, Erica, Dean and Samantha Bushmaker, Ethan and Danielle Elgersma, and Ariel, Victoria and Morgan Fuller, and her grandmother, Mildred Johnson of Wisconsin Rapids. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leonard Schivoni, Clyde and Genevieve Fuller, step-grandfather, Jerry Johnson; and two infant brothers, Phillip and Allan. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tues. at Taylor, Vollert, and Jennings Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until time of services Wed. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
