(3 Sep 1958 – 5 Jan 1996) Yvonne J. Knauf, 37, of 210 W. Sixth St., died at 12:25 a.m. Jan. 5, 1996, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She had been admitted to the hospital on Dec. 29, 1995. Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. today at Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Marshfield. The Rev. John W. Schenck and the Rev. Gary M. Albert, pastors of Immanuel Lutheran Church, officiated. Juliann Baxter served as organist for the Immanuel Lutheran School Choir. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Darrell Schraeder, Duane Schraeder, Jeffrey Joswiak, Thomas Knauf, Keith Olson and Lynn Bump. Visitations were held at 4 p.m. Sun. at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Chapel and again at 9 a.m. today at the funeral chapel, then from 9:30 a.m. today until service time at the church. Yvonne was born Sept. 3, 1958, in Wisconsin Rapids to LeRoy E. and Jean E. (Roth) Schraeder. She was married to David R. Knauf on March 7, 1981, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Marshfield. She attended Stratford elementary schools and Stratford High School, graduating in 1976. Following her education, she was employed by M&I Bank and Trust in Marshfield as a personal banker. She was associated with the bank for 17 years. She was also a homemaker and a mother. Yvonne was a gentle and loving woman with a beautiful affection and love for all. After her courageous battle with cancer, the angels took her to her heavenly home. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Marshfield. She is survived by her husband, David R. Knauf of Marshfield; her son, Steven Knauf, at home; twin daughters, Lisa and Laura Knauf, both at home; her mother, Jean E. Schraeder of Stratford; her sister Beverly (Jeffrey) Joswiak of Stratford; two brothers, Duane (Lisa) Schraeder and Darrell Schraeder, all of Stratford; her grandmother, Gertrude Schraeder of Port Edwards; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be designated in Yvonne’s name to the family who will establish a memorial at a later date. |
