A.O. Mannigel Dies; Was 79

Funeral Services Will Be Thur.

Albert Otto Mannigel, 79, died at his home on route 1, Marshfield, this morning of a heart ailment. Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Thur. at Faith Lutheran Church. The Rev. Harold Oelschlager will officiate and burial will be made in Hillside cemetery.

The body will repose at the Hansen Funeral Home from Tues. noon until noon Thur., when it will be taken to the church.

Mr. Mannigel was born Jan. 27, 1879, in Juneau. He came to McMillan in 1882 and received his education there. In 1919 he moved to the town of Lincoln, where he had lived since.

He married Louise Matthes April 12, 1910, in McMillan. She preceded him in death in 1926. On Dec. 15, 1928, he married Emma Knoop at Neillsville. She also preceded him in death, in 1950.

He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

Survivors include on son, James Mannigel, at home; two daughters Mrs. Marvin (Bernice) Vierguts, New Castle, Wyo.; Mrs. Lester (Ardene) Crevies, Kankakee, Ill.; five grandchildren, one brother, Helmuth Mannigel, Marshfield; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Reinolt, Chetek, and Miss Emma Mannigel, Reedsburg.

Two sons and one sister preceded him in death.
