(13 Oct. 1921 – 5 Feb. 2009) Loretta J. Schultz, 87, Marshfield, joined her husband, Ervin, in heaven on Thur., Feb. 5, 2009, at Saint Joseph's Hospital Palliative Care, Marshfield. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Sat. Feb. 7, 2009, at St. John's Catholic Church. The Rev. Charles Stoetzel will officiate and Suzanne Golden will be the organist for St. John's Church Funeral Choir. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Fri. at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI), and on Sat. at St. John's Church from 9 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Schultz was born on Oct. 13, 1921, in Marshfield to John and Catherine (Panske) Jonas. She married Ervin H. Schultz on Feb. 20, 1946, in Bakerville. He died on Oct. 28, 2001. Loretta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed her family, flowers, watching and feeding the birds, and in her earlier years, traveling and family vacations. She is survived by a daughter and two sons, Beverly (Dennis) Pozega of Prairie du Chien, Robert (Donna) Schultz of Marshfield, and David (Beth) Schultz of McFarland. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Rob (Stacey) Schultz, Kevin (Ingrid) Schultz, Vicki (John) Tracy, Tiffany (Eric) Pederstuen, Jenna Pozega, Amanda Pozega, Rebecca Schultz and Justin Schultz; and nine great-grandchildren, Hale, Esobel, Ruth, Ella, Drake, Sophia and Augie Schultz, and Neale and Declyn Tracy. She is further survived by a brother, Wally (Doris) Jonas of Marshfield; a sister, Marie Trulen of Medford; and sisters-in-law, Irene Jonas of Bakerville and Arlayne Jonas of Marshfield. She was predeceased by her husband; her parents; and brothers, John, Joseph and Lawrence Jonas. Memorials may be designated in her name to St. John's Parish or Saint Joseph's Palliative Care.
