Mr. Egner witn the assistance of his two sons is busy digging a new well on his farm.

Mr. Mike Duvall intends to run a feed mill in connection with his cheese factory this fall and winter.

A. S. James a flourishing cheese maker west of here is putting the finishing touches on the fine new home recently built by him.

Joe Scheschi who returned from Montana a week ago will have charge of the store which his father will open here in the near future.

Mr. Fred Schaschi who recently opened a saloon here will open the store which he expects to run in connection with it in about a month.

Contractor Geo Spang is working at the home of Mrs. Wm. Klein west of Marshfield this week. Mr. Spang has been kept very busy, and at the present time has several contracts for work in the vicinity of Mann.

Mr. Claud Lee who recently purchased the 20 acre farm one mile north of the city, which was formerly owned by Wm. Wenzel, has an especially fine patch of onions. They are of the yellow globe Denvers. Next year Mr. Lee will give about 1 acre to their production.

Mr. John Egger a progressive farmer, west of here is building an addition to his home, and is also making a fine new cellar, Mr. Egger has been living in this vicinity the past five years. He will have a very comfortable home as soon as the improvements are completed.

Mr. Mike Duvall our enterprising cheese maker has a factory which is well worthy of note. Mr. Duvall's factory which is of good dimensions, being 20x40 was constructed and fitted by himself, and is one of the best arranged factor les in this section of the country, He has originated a new device for his whey tank that will save both himself and the farmers who bring their milk here a great deal of time and .work. The pluming and car penter . work done by Mr. Duvall deserves special mention, as it shows a high grade of workman-, ship.
