Merchant Gust Brooks was caller at Marshfield Saturday.

The cheese factory is running full blast now, receiving 3,500 pounds of milk daily.

Mrs. Thomas Smith is packing her hcnsehold. goods and will leave next week for Koto, Wis.

The cheese factory has received a mockingbird, whistle which will also be used for fire purposes.

Rud. Maner is now foreman of the sliver mill, taking Mr. Cleveland's place who left for Antigo.

The Fenwood Lnmber Co. has men at work overhauling the planing- mill which will start in a few weeks.

There was a crowd of about eight young men left here this week to go into the harvest fields at Dakota.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas, Pray were surprised by a crowd of fifty people on their tenth anniversary each one bringing along a useful tin article. The evening was spent in dancing at Severin's hall.

The Fenwood Lumber Co. has a crew of about fifteen men at work shingling all their buildings, mainly the boarding house, the large horse barn, the main office and all the cottages they own.

Gust Brooks, local agent for the Produce Co. reports business picking up. He now ships two dray loads twice a week. He does his own testing and paying off farmers on each shipping day.

R. A. Kalbskcoff was a caller at Fenwood last week posting signs for the Central Wisconsin State Fair. Anyone wishing a book o the program etc. can have sai'ie bi calling at the store of the Brinkman Zebsdat Mercantile Co.

Farmers are all busy harvesting they report grain and potatoes were never finer than what they are this year. Aug. Hanneman was the first one around with his threshing outfit, the first threshing being done was for Albert Wilcott.
