Hugh C. Jones spent Thursday at Marshfield.

 

A large number attended the dance at Milladore Friday evening.

 

Fred K,, Becker was initiated into the mysteries of woodcraft Saturday evening.

 

Edgeworth Flannagan and Lester Cline left Tuesday for the Dakota harvest fields.

 

Quite an excitement is caused here over the discovery of iron ore, and all are waiting anxiously for further developments. It is hoped ore will be found in paying quantities.

 

A musical entertainment together with elocutionary selections will be given by Miss Arlie Hinman of Marshfield at the Presbyterian church on Thursday evening, Aug. 17.  Miss Hinman possesses rare ability along this line and an enjoyable evening is assured. Everybody is cordially invited. Proceeds will be for the benefit of the church. Admission, adults 20 cents, children 15 cents.
