The Presbyterian Sabbath school has just received a new library and the little folks are very much pleased.

Personal.

The editor of this paper left Monday for Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison.

Mrs. A. C. Miner returned from Milwaukee on Monday.

Mr. and Ms. Ingalls from Unity, are visiting their children in this village.

Mrs. E. E. Winch returned from Chilton on Monday, after an absence of a few weeks.

Seth Reeves, traveling salesman for a wholesale house in Milwaukee, was in this village on Monday, taking orders.

G. H. Elvis left for Stevens Point on Monday.

Frank Cramer of Town twenty-eight made this office a pleasant call on Monday.

Richard Klau, agent for F. W, Hartman & Co. Milwaukee, was in town Monday.

Chris Adler, of Washington county, was in the village over Sunday. He purchased quite recently

Mr. A. J. Felter's property, and is negotiating for other property.

F. S. Kirkland, took a run down to Milwaukee last week, returning this week.

The seven by-wine countenance of Mr. Nash of the firm of Jones & Nash, hardware merchants of Centralia, was seen in town on Tuesday he called at the Times office.

Wm. Reese, formerly of Berlin, now traveling for a Chicago Grocery house was in town on Wednesday, He thinks Marshfield is a lively little town.

C. W. Jacobus of Haton, Calumet county, has been in town for a few days, looking up a location for the purpose of starting a liquor store.

A. H. Roy, of Racine, will come to Marshfield some time in April for the purpose of starting a distillery. He claims to be able to manufacture seven gallons of pure whiskey out of one cord of wood.

Frank Button, Hon. of R. W. Button, of Guy Point, Jackson county was in town Thursday.

C. Cornelius, the enterprising merchant of Maple Works, was in this village on Thursday.

E. K. Barker with Green & Bulton, wholesale druggists of Milwaukee, made himself industrious in this village on Thursday.

Prof. N. L. Kaudy, the rising young artist of Colby, was in town on Thursday. Anyone wishing to see specimens of his work can do by calling at the Times office.

Mr. Frank Upham is making preparations for building a residence in the Wheeler lots. The Times did not learn who was to be the lucky young lady.

Miss Kittie(?) McShane, of Grand Rapids, has been visiting her sister, Mrs. C.A. Coon of the place this week. She came up in time to attend the grand mask ball in which she took part unrecognized until she unmasked.

The Norwegian Orphan Asylum at Wittenberg, Shawano County, is now well under way.
