The contract for the new school house has been let to T. F. Vanndom, the papers being signed Thursday. The building is to be two stories in height and containing four departments. It will cost in the neighborhood of $3,500.

A German named Hock, living in Colby, last week received a fractured skull and broken arm, by a falling limb.

Mr. L. B. Meacham, living near Spencer, was severely injured recently, by a log rolling onto him.
