"Judy" Parrett, 66, passed away Fri., Jan. 2, 2009, at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. Funeral services will be held at noon Wed., Jan. 7, 2009, at Christ Lutheran Church, 220 S. Main St., DeForest, Ill., with Pastor Jerry A. Olson officiating. Burial will follow in Norway Grove Cemetery in DeForest. A visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service Wed. at the church. She was born July 25, 1942, the daughter of Adolph and Verna (Gropp) Kuehl in Marshfield. Judy worked for GTE/Verizon in Marshfield and Sun.rairie for 35 years retiring in 1994. She dedicated her life to taking care of her daughters and grandchildren. Judy enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and watching game shows. She looked forward to monthly luncheons with friends and former coworkers. Judy is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline (David) Saad and Jill (Lonnie) Schultz; grandchildren, Lauren, Alex and Tyler Saad and Kelsey, Hannah and Carter Schultz; a brother, Robert (Cathy) Kuehl; nephews, other relatives and friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents. Judy's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at UW Hospital.
