----Surnames: Ladd, Jones ----Source: Oshkosh Daily Northwestern (Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wis.) Wed., 8 Jan. 1919 page 11 Ladd, P. A. (2 Apr. 1847? – 5 Jan. 1919) P. A. Ladd, a former well known resident of Neenah, is dead at the Soldiers’ Home in Waupaca at the age of seventy-two. Death followed a surgical operation. He is survived by one son, who lives in Oregon. A sister, Mrs. S. E. Jones, resides here. The funeral was held from the Solders’ Home at Waupaca. *** Note: Dates of birth and death are from family records of Donna Bell Cross, great-great-granddaughter of P. A. Ladd.
