Here’s one of the old Thorp photographs brought to us by Brenda Hackbarth. It’s obviously taken of a very prosperous business that at the time was packed with employees and/or customers.

What was this business, during what decade was the photograph taken, and where was the photograph taken, and where was the business located in the community?

Eileen Frenette called in to further describe the picture she had submitted [last week] of the Hudson Bay liner out of Kingston, New York. Eileen sailed on this ship when she was four years old, taking a trip with her mother, Helen Dekoski Bogumill.
