Aura Benedict

Aura
(nee Bradbury)
Benedict was a daughter of Frank and Esther
(nee Rounseville) Bradbury. Both her parents, along with an uncle (S. Wallace
Rounseville) are buried in York Cemetery. She married Nyle
Benedict who was a great grandson to Adonijah
Benedict, a
pioneer of York Township and a Civil War veteran.
Aura and Nyle Benedict lived for many years at the original Sanford Benedict homestead located
on Heath Road between County Highway K and Cardinal Avenue in Section 9 of York
Township.
