Caroline Bryant

July 4, 1809 - September 21, 1891

The October 1, 1891 issue of the Republican and Press indicated that Mrs. C. Bryant, age 82 years, died the morning of September 21, 1891, from old age.  The article also said that she was the daughter of Mrs. C. A. Benedict (Adonijah Benedict's wife) with whom she had been living for the past 11 years.  The funeral was held on January 22, 1891 (service by Harry Philpott of Loyal) with the burial taking place in York Center Cemetery.  It is presumed that she was buried in the same plot that Adonijah and Clarissa Benedict were later buried in.  Caroline (nee Marsh) Bryant was born in New York and was the wife of Albert W. Bryant.
