Floy Huntley

January 6, 1883 - February 10, 1975

Floy Huntley was the wife of Harmon Huntley, an early resident of York Township.  She was also a daughter of Horace and Edna (nee Smithers) Lawrence, pioneers of York Township.  Therefore, Floy was a half sister to Ida Turner, Burton Lawrence, Lillie Vandeberg and Melvin Lawrence, and a sister to Lois Vandeberg, Orin Lawrence, Roy Lawrence (twin brother), Earl Lawrence and Horace H. Lawrence; all of whom are buried in York Center Cemetery. Another sibling of Floy's was George Lawrence, who is interred at Tacoma, Washington.  Floy's children include Irene Filitz and Carol Bushnell whose husband was Merle Bushnell (and who is also interred in York Center Cemetery).
