Burton Lawrence

January 28, 1865 - July 29, 1950

Burton Lawrence was a son of Horace Lawrence and Lorinda (nee Windsor) and a stepson to Edna (nee Smithers) Lawrence, Horace Lawrence’s second wife. As such, he was a half-sibling to other people buried in the York Center Cemetery, including: Lois Vandeberg, Orin Lawrence, Roy Lawrence, Floy Huntley, Earl Lawrence, Olive Campbell, Carrie Lawrence, and Horace  H. Lawrence.  In addition, he was a sibling to Ida Turner, Lillian Vandeberg, and Melvin Lawrence, who are also buried in York Center Cemetery.  Another sibling of Burton's was George Lawrence, who is interred at Tacoma, Washington.  He married Olive (nee Van Buren) Rogers after her husband Noel Rogers died.  Olive is interred at Ladysmith, Wisconsin.
