Earl Lawrence

June 21, 1884 - September 23, 1963

wpe9.gif (8037 bytes)Earl Lawrence was a son of Horace and Edna (nee Smithers) Lawrence, who were pioneers of York Township.  He was a sibling to other people buried in the York Center Cemetery, including: Lois Vandeberg, Orin Lawrence, Roy Lawrence, Floy Huntley, Olive Campbell, Carrie Lawrence, and Horace H. Lawrence.  In addition, he was a half-sibling to Ida Turner, Lillian Vandeberg, and Melvin Lawrence, who are also buried in York Center Cemetery. Another half-sibling of Earl's was George Lawrence, who is interred at Tacoma, Washington.  Earl Lawrence married the former Viola Alton, a sister to Fern (nee Alton) Vandeberg.
