Nettie Lawrence
July 4, 1884 - November 23, 1942
Nettie (nee Downey) Lawrence was born in Fond du Lac County, a daughter of Homer Downey.[i] She was also the wife of Orin Lawrence. Orin was a son of Horace A. and Edna (nee Smithers) Lawrence, pioneers of York Township. Their children include Ina (nee Lawrence) Williams, whose son, Clarence Oberman is buried in York Center Cemetery and Fannie (nee Lawrence) Jakobi, whose husband, Walter Jakobi is also buried in York Center Cemetery.
