Clarence Oberman

September 16, 1925 - May 31, 1940

Clarence Oberman was the son of Ina (nee Lawrence) Williams.  Ina was a daughter of Orin and Nettie Lawrence.  Orin was a son of Horace A. and Edna (nee Smithers) Lawrence, early pioneers of York Township.   Norbert Lavey  (the oldest son of Glenn and Elizabeth Lavey) was a pallbearer at Clarence’s funeral; he had gone to grade school with Clarence Oberman.  In addition, Norbert’s uncle, George Williams (who was married to his father’s sister, Pearl) was a brother to Clarence Oberman’s stepfather, Milford Williams.
