Grant Turner

July 11, 1898 - March 20, 1930

Grant Turner was a son of Abie and Hattie (nee Lindsley) Turner.  Abie Turner was a son of Abel and Arvilla (nee Thompson) Turner, early pioneers of York Township.  Hattie Turner was a daughter of George and Sarah (nee Lawrence) Lindsley, who were also early settlers of York Township.  Sarah Lindsley was a daughter of Jesse and Almeda (nee Benedict) Lawrence, who were also pioneers of York.  Price Turner, George Turner, Birdeen Turner, Clayton Turner, Myron Turner and Harriet Triska are siblings of Grant Turner who have plots in York Center Cemetery.  Grant Turner married the former Arlene Welch.
