"Pint" Turner

March 20, 1858 - January 3, 1919

William “Pint” Turner was a pioneer of York Township.  He was a son of Abel and Arvilla (nee Thompson) Turner, both whom were early pioneers of York Township.  His first wife was the former Ida Lawrence, a daughter of Horace A. and Lorinda (nee Windsor) Lawrence.  After the death of his first wife, from a shooting accident, he married Ida’s first cousin, Bessie Livingston, a daughter of Sam and Esther (nee Windsor) Livingston.  An 1893 plat map shows W. H. Turner owning 40 acres of land in Section 10.
