Caroline Voight

January 29, 1854 - August 4, 1926

Born in Germany as a daughter to Emil and Dorothia Nitshke, Caroline (nee Nitshke) Voight was the wife of Julius Voight who was an early settler of York Township.  An early plat map shows that Julius Voight owned 40 acres of land of land in Section 22,  land that was formerly owned by Jasper H. Fisher).  Several of Julius and Caroline Voight’s children are buried in York Center Cemetery including:  Edward and Reinhold (aka Hank) Voight.
