Ed Voight

September 26, 1892 - October 1, 1977

wpe19.gif (8814 bytes)Ed Voight was a son of Julius and Caroline Voight who were early settlers of York Center Cemetery.  He married the former Ida Vandeberg, a daughter of John and Lillian (nee Lawrence) Vandeberg.  Ed Voight’s brother Reinhold (aka Hank) Voight, and two of his children, Ruby and Lyle Voight, are also buried in York Center Cemetery:  Ed and Ida Voight lived on a farm in Section 21 that was formerly owned by William Rowe.
