Gipple-Waid
Kasi Gipple and Kurt Waid, both of Merrill, were joined in Holy Matrimony on Sept. 16, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. Rev. David R. Klemm officiated at the afternoon ceremony, where music was provided by organist Polly Schneider and soloist Mary Banser.
The bride is the daughter of Randy and Jodi Gipple, Merrill. The groom is the son of Paul and Missy Waid, Merrill.
Matron of honor was Lindsay Heath, Stevens Point; and Matt Waid, brother of the groom, Merrill, was best man.
Bridesmaids included Robyn Specht and Jamie Rousseau, both of Merrill; Melanie Erickson, Milwaukee; JoBeth Wistein and Trina Ravn, both of Merrill; Ashley Graap, the bride's cousin, Merrill; and Elly Waid, sister of the groom, Merrill. Flower girl was Zoey Sabatke, the bride's cousin, Merrill; junior bride was Brittney Rousseau, Merrill; and personal attendant was Deanna Waid, the groom's cousin, Merrill.
Serving as groomsmen were Ben Knospe, Merrill; Fred Copa, Weston; Scott Waid and Kory Waid, both the groom's cousins, from Merrill; Darren Johnson, Merrill; Kellen Williams, the groom's cousin, Milwaukee; and Kody Gipple, brother of the bride, Merrill. Ring bearer was Dawson Heckendorf, Merrill.
Ushers were Kevin Jannusch and Pat Rousseau, both of Merrill.
A reception was held at the Merrill Golf Club. They honeymooned in Plata Del Carmen, Mexico.
Kasi is a sales consultant with Merrill Distributing. Kurt is a financial advisor with Zeigler Wealth Management in Wausau.
The couple lives in Merrill.
