Patrick J. Plautz

Patrick J. Plautz, 30, of Pewaukee, died Saturday, March 24, 2007, as the result of an automobile accident in Waukesha County.

Patrick was born Feb. 22, 1977, in Merrill, the son of Larry and Lynn Pleus Plautz, Merrill.

Patrick was a 1995 graduate of Merrill High School. He served two years in the U.S. Air Force and was in "Ground Radio Communications." He was stationed in Texas, Alabama and Mississippi. Following his military service, Patrick was an installer and programmer of security and fire alarm systems. He had installed systems throughout the Milwaukee area, including Mitchell International Airport and Miller Park. Patrick enjoyed salmon fishing on Lake Michigan, golfing, sharing his pet dog "Gutzi" with his parents, and spending time with his nieces Emily and Rachel.

Survivors besides his parents include his sister Amy (Scott) Remmick, Fargo, N.D.; brother Mike (Jean), Milwaukee; his beloved nieces Emily and Rachel; and other relatives and friends both in Merrill and Milwaukee.

The family received friends on Friday, March 30, at the Taylor & Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, followed by private family services. Rev. Donald King officiated. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorials be given to the Merrill Band Boosters' "Adopt a Uniform Fund."
