Since moving to Merrill in 1996 she became a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker and maintained beautiful flower gardens. She loved to read and worked with both the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. She loved helping others and guided many in her life opening her heart and home to them.

Helen is survived by daughter Julie (Patrick) Szulczewski, Merrill; and son Clark (Nilah McDonald) Topper, Scituate, Mass.; and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, the Dodd family and a host of dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Milo, five sisters, four brothers, and special aunts and uncles.

Thank you one and all who knew her for her kind friendship. She will be missed by all and remembered for her love. She is now at peace with her Lord.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Merrill. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the services at the church.
