Andrew Lee Cornish, 16, of Merrill, died from the result of an accident on Sunday, June 17, 2007.

Andrew was born September 13, 1990 in Wausau, the son of Leslie Cornish and Jeannie Newlin.

Andy lived with his maternal grandparents, Walter and Mary Forster. The outdoors was his life. He loved to hunt and fish and was a country music fan. Andy recently acquired his driver's license and since was always on the go.

He is survived by his mother Jeannie (fiance David Tucker), Oglesby, Ill.; his father Leslie Cornish, Schofield; his maternal grandparents Walter and Mary Forster, Merrill; sisters Nicole Cornish, Merrill; Angel Dobson, Tigerton; and Ariel Evenson, Hatley; and brothers Michael Keeling, Wausau; and Jacob Newlin, Leland, Ill. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Andy also is survived by his "Big Brother" Brian Severt. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Margaret and Nathan Cornish.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. this afternoon, Wednesday, June 20, at Merrill Memorial Park. The Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family.
