Thorsberg Eunice Erika Thorsberg, 94, of Merrill, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, at Bell Tower Residence, Merrill. Eunice was born June 28, 1913, in Merrill, daughter of the late Anton and Ida Erickson Thorsberg. Eunice worked for the 1st National Bank of Evanston, Ill., for many years. She returned to Merrill after her retirement. Eunice was a life member of the Merrill Historical Society and Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, visiting with others, and food and wine. She is survived by her nephew David Johnson, Evanston, Ill., and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sisters Anna Johnson, Clara Thorsberg and Martha Thorsberg, and nephew Charles E. Johnson. Funeral services were Wednesday, Aug. 15, at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. Jeffrey Martinson officiated. Burial followed in Merrill Memorial Park. The family asks that memorials be directed to the Merrill Historical Society.
