Florence E. Beyer

Florence E. Beyer, 88, of Merrill, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Florence was born April 18, 1919, in Irma, daughter of the late Walter and Sara Waldburger Josten. On June 14, 1939, she married Emil Beyer in Merrill. He preceded her in death on Feb. 10, 2003.

Florence and Emil farmed together in the town of Schley until they retired in 1976. In retirement, she enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and crocheting.

Surviving is granddaughter Kristen Beyer, Wautoma; grandson Daniel Beyer, Santa Monica, Calif.; great-granddaughter Lindsey; special niece Judy (Robert) DeMesy, Merrill; great-niece Shelly (Peter) Mondeik, Gleason; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Emil, sons Infant Rodney Emil and Donald James; and sister Edna Rajek.

Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 5, at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. R. Brian Stolarczyk officiated. Burial was in Merrill Memorial Park.
