Adeline A. Dorn

Adeline A. Dorn, 87, formerly of the town of Maine, Marathon County, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau.

Adeline was born Jan. 11, 1920, in the town of Maine, daughter of the late Rudolph and Martha Radtke Schult. She married Adolph F. Dorn on Oct. 15, 1938, in the town of Maine. He preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 1984.

Adeline was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and fishing with her family on Lake Nokomis.

Survivors include her daughters Shirley (William) Weber, Merrill; and Kristine (Mike) Hull, Oconto; grandchildren LaMae Weber, California; and Jonathan and Nicholas Hull, both of Oconto; and sisters Elizabeth (Henry) Ahrens, Marathon; and Dorothy Schulz, Marshfield. She was preceded in death by siblings Amos, Roland, Herman, Edwin, Verna and Joanne.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Faith Lutheran Church, town of Maine. Rev. Kevin Hoogland officiated. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, town of Maine. The Taylor & Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, assisted the family. Online condolences may be made at www.taylorstinefuneralhome.com.
