Clarence O. Bade

Clarence O. Bade, 89, of W4755 Golf Dr., Merrill, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, at Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.

Clarence was born May 18, 1917, in the town of Scott, son of the late William and Mary Sandman Bade. He married Elsie M. Schmidt on Jan. 18, 1936. She survives.

Clarence had been a dairy farmer in the town of Scott, and he also worked in commercial construction. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Merrill. Clarence enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and spending time with his family.

Survivors besides his wife Elsie, Merrill; include daughters Ethel (Harold) Natzke and Joyce (Melvin) Klebnow, both of Merrill; sons Harvey (Ardell), Athens; and Roger (Darlene), Merrill; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; and sister-in-law Muriel Bade, Waukesha. He was preceded in death by sisters Irene Lemke and Loretta Buntrock and brother William.

Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 27, at St. John Lutheran Church, Merrill. Rev. Kelly Leary officiated. Burial was in St. Paul's Cemetery, town of Scott. The Taylor & Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, assisted the family.
