Bruce A. Roman

Bruce Allen Roman, 59, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, at Clinton Hospital.

Bruce was born Oct. 5, 1947, in Merrill, son of Millie Roman and the late Alfred Roman. He married his wife Sandy in Michigan.

Bruce had battled with cancer for four years. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Bruce worked for Al's Body Shop in Merrill for 20 years. Most recently, he was care taker at a trailer court in Clinton. Bruce was an outdoor person. He liked to hunt, fish, and just do anything outside. He was an excellent artist. Bruce was a very loving husband and a loving and caring father to his two sons.

Bruce is survived by his wife Sandy Roman, and sons Bruce Allan (Amanda) Roman and Bill Allan Roman, all of Clinton; and his mother Millie Roman. Also surviving are brothers Dale (Sandy) and Clark (Kelly); and nephews Todd Allan (Tammy) Roman, Chris Allan (Corrine) Roman, and Jesse Allan Roman; great-niece Molly Kate Roman, and great-nephew Nicholas Allan Roman, all of Merrill. He was preceded in death by his father Alfred on March 4, 2005.

Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 25, at Shonefeld Funeral Home, Clinton.
