Ardith M. Woller

Ardith M. Woller, 83, of Merrill, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, at Golden Age Nursing Home in Tomahawk.

Born in Barron on April 21, 1923, Ardith was the daughter of the late Floyd and Gertrude Bailey Oleson. She married Raymond Woller on May 29, 1941, in Merrill. He preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 1964.

Ardith had worked at t the former Hinz's Cork and Dyne for 32 years. She was a member of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ. Ardith was a former member of the Business Women's Association. Her passion was cooking, and many people enjoyed it. Ardith also enjoyed traveling with her sisters and brother, listening to music, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her sons Raymond Jr. (Janet) and Kenneth (Rita), both of Merrill; grandchildren Steven (Katrina) Woller, Lynn (Nick) Lecher, Lisa (Jeff) Brown, Wayne (Susan) Woller, Allen (Kim) Woller and Amy Woller; and many great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sister Helen Willems, Green Bay; and brother Charles (Jean) Oleson, Merrill. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, sisters Evelyn Prieve and Betty Rhyner, and granddaughter Beverly Woller.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Oct. 5, at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. Earl Eckhart will officiate. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends tonight, Wednesday, 4-8 p.m., and again Thursday morning from 10 a.m. to the hour of services at the funeral home.
