Steven M. Cottrell

Steven M. Cottrell, 56, of W7316 Grundy Rd., Gleason, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2006, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 22, 1949, in Merrill to Russell and Patricia Cottrell.

Steven had previously lived in Appleton and worked for U.S. Paper in Neenah. He formerly owned and operated Steve's Timberland Lodge in Hortonville. He moved to the Gleason area in 1991. He had worked for Customer One Cooperative in Merrill, Merrill Equipment and Pat Walker Trucking in Tomahawk. Steven enjoyed his Victory motorcycle, Polaris snowmobiles and his horses. He also enjoyed hunting, and taking part in Bandit Class racing at the Tomahawk Speedway.

Survivors include his parents, Russ and Pat Cottrell, Gleason; daughters Amanda A. (Chris Hannis) Cottrell, Fremont, Stephanie (Brian) Gooding, Shiocton, and Bobbie (Mark Weber) Cottrell, Appleton; grandchildren Cheyanna-Mari Cottrell and Isayah Coley Weber, both of Appleton. He is further survived by brother Chris, Oshkosh; and sister Rev. Kathleen (Lon) Jury, Black River Falls.

Memorial services were held Monday, Aug. 7, at Krueger & Sons Funeral Home, Tomahawk.
