Gerald S. Adumat

Gerald S. Adumat, 69, of Merrill, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2006, at St. Clare's Hospital, Weston, surrounded by his family, and welcomed home into his Father's loving arms.

Born in Milwaukee on Sept. 22, 1936, Gerald was the son of the late Stanley and Lillian Andryeski Adumat. He married Regina "Reggie" LeDuc on July 5, 1997. She survives.

Jerry was a 1954 graduate of Three Lakes High School. He continued his education at UW Milwaukee. Jerry chose a variety of careers before beginning his own drywall business known as "Jerry's Drywall." He had a loving relationship with his Lord and never missed an opportunity to share Christ with others. Jerry loved his family, sunsets, gardening, traveling, and working with his hands. He considered all of these gifts from God. Jerry will be lovingly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Regina "Reggie," Merrill; daughters Lori Deshotels, Menominee Falls; and Mary, Sarah and Nancy Adumat, all of Madison; sons Mark Haxton, Boca Raton, Fla.; John Adumat, Madison; John (Sharley) LeDuc, Bremerton, Wash.; Brian (Heather) LeDuc, Irma; and Marc LeDuc, Merrill; and grandchildren Heather, Jennifer, Aiden, Cole, Alexis, Jacob, Jordan, Hunter, and Logan.

Funeral services were Saturday Aug. 26, at the Waid Funeral Chapel, Merrill. Rev. Clifton Wixson officiated. Burial was in Merrill Memorial Park.
