Della M. Olivotti

Della M. Olivotti, 93, of 2100 E. Sixth St., Merrill, formerly of the town of Merrill, died Monday, July 17, 2006, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.

Della was born Oct. 17, 1912, in Marathon County, daughter of the late Carl and Ida Brunow Gums. She married Andy Olivotti on May 26, 1934. He preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 1995.

Della was a retired employee of the Weinbrenner Shoe Company, Merrill. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. Della enjoyed watching and feeding the wild animals at her town of Merrill residence.

Survivors include her son Lee (Lori), Kenosha; grandson Barry Olivotti; step-grandchildren Tracy (Joey) Weed and Alan (Mary) Means; and step-great-grandchildren Jason, Danny, Stephanie and Christopher. She was preceded in death by sister Ella and brothers Emil and Robert.

Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 21, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. Rev. David Klemm will officiate. Burial will be in Snow Hill Cemetery, town of Scott. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the church. The Taylor & Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family.
