Ellen J. Holt

Ellen J. Holt, 75, of Merrill, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, at Good Samaritan Health Center under Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

Ellen was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Merrill, the daughter of the late Harold and Sadie Houston Lambrecht. She married Richard Holt on April 16, 1955, in Merrill. He died on March 19, 2002.

Ellen was a housewife. She was a member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, Gleason. She enjoyed sewing and baking.

Survivors include daughters, Chris (Gary) Brandt, of Hixson, Tenn.; and Lyn (Danny) Hudson, Salisbury, N.C.; son, Matt (Sue) Holt, Gleason; sisters, Lois (Darroll) Wendorf, Merrill; Carol (Bernard) Stiver, Medford; Janice Bloomfield, Phoenix, Ariz.; and Diane (Du Wayne) Kleinschmidt, Wausau; brothers, Dale Lambrecht, Appleton; Dennis (Denise) Lambrecht, Phoenix, Ariz.; and William (Mary) Lambrecht, Sheboygan; three grandchildren and one great-grandson. Besides her husband, two sisters, two brothers and one grandson preceded Ellen in death.

Memorial services were held Thursday, Sept. 14, at Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. The Rev. Steven Anderson presided.
