Davis, 75, of Wausau, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Allen was born April 4, 1931, in Crandon. Allen served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He had worked at Semling-Menke Co. in Merrill and also on a number of dairy farms. Allen enjoyed fishing and gambling. Surviving are his sister Bonnie Tutor, Gleason; brother Glenn (Joyce) Teeples, Merrill; sister-in-law Leota Davis, Irma; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and five brothers. Funeral services were Sunday, Oct. 22, at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. Robert Smallman officiated. Burial was in Chat Cemetery, town of Birch.
