Kenneth Schotz

Kenneth A. Schotz, 73, of Rhinelander, died Thursday, June 22, 2006, at his residence.

Kenneth was born May 30, 1933, in Merrill, son of Charles and Gertrude Allen Schotz. He married Pauline Tracy in Merrill on Aug. 24, 1957.

After his schooling, Kenneth served in the U.S. Army from April 1953 until his honorable discharge in April 1961, attaining the rank of corporal. Kenneth was an expeditor at Lincoln Wood for 30 years. He was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Tomahawk and he enjoyed anything having to do with the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife Pauline, Rhinelander; daughter Kathryn Wiseman, Ardmore, Okla.; sons Robert (Linda) and William (Anne), both of Merrill; and Gerald (Ann), Philo, Ill.; grandchildren Jason, Justin, Paul and Sara Schotz; Stephanie Gold; and Dustin and Mickel Rahlf; and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters Charlotte (Victor) Zimmerman, Merrill; Margaret (James) McLellan, St. Louis, Mo.; and Jean Schotz, DeForest; and brothers Herbert (Louise), Irma; Thomas (Rose), Merrill; Phillip (Mary) and Richard (Carol), both of Neenah-Menasha; and John (Kathy), Merrill. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Lawrence, Clarence and Rudolph.
