Angeline P. Lemmer

Angeline Phylis Lemmer, 67, of Wausau, died Monday, June 19, 2006, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Angie was born May 12, 1939, in the town of Scott to the late Leo and Angeline Sczygelski. She married Ronald Lemmer on April 25, 1959, in Marathon City. He survives.

Angie was always smiling, friendly and welcoming. After raising seven kids and then also working hard for the last 20 years at the Bone and Joint Clinic, Sport and Spine, Key Real Estate, and then retiring May 19, 2006, from nine wonderful years at Security Realty GMAC, she was looking forward to spending time with her family and friends. Angie enjoyed cooking, dancing, reading, playing cards and traveling. Her greatest love was being a mom and spending time with her seven children and their families. Our mother was known and loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.

Survivors include Ronald (Debra), Merrill; Susan (Brad) Berndt, Durham, N.C.; Mary (Joe) Wusterbarth, Hudson; Tom (Kathy) DePere; Dan (Ann), Wausau; Sharon (Matt) Grimm, Wausau; and Brian (Jill), Dearborn, Mich. She was Grandma Angie to 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also lovingly survived by her sisters Virginia Wiesneski, Mary Starzinski, Elizabeth Teresinski and Geraldine “Gerry” Kufahl. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Angeline Sczygelski; and brothers Joseph and Walter (Carol) Sczygelski.

The Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, June 23, at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Steven Brice presided. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, town of Maine.

The Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth St., Wausau, was in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at www.petersonkraemer.com.
