Doris H. Dahl

Doris H. Dahl, 80, formerly of W2477 Prairie Dr., Merrill, died Monday, June 26, 2006, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Doris was born March 5, 1926, in Merrill, daughter of the late Martin and Caroline Pautz Mittlesteadt Sr.

Doris was a homemaker. She was a member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, Gleason. Doris enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and their families.

Survivors include her daughters Sandy Wachsmuth, Beloit; and Linda (Roger) Franzen, Merrill; son David (Sally), Merrill; grandchildren Ryan and Sara Wachsmuth, Carrie Franzen, Jenny (Jason) Schulz, Adam (Leah) Dahl and Mary Dahl; and great-granddaughter Dezirae Schulz. She was preceded in death by sisters Irene Fuller, Minnie Zimmerman, and Selma Zortman; and brothers Martin, Edwin, Norman and Henry ‘Hank.’

Funeral services were Wednesday, June 28, at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, Gleason. Rev. Steven Anderson officiated. Burial was in Merrill Memorial Park. The Taylor & Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, assisted the family.
