Roets-Reich

Ellie M. Roets and John M. Reich were married Aug. 12, 2006, at St. John Lutheran Church, Merrill. Rev. Alden Beversdorf officiated at the afternoon ceremony with music provided by organist Lowell Schultz.

The bride is the daughter of Steven and Cheryl Roets, Merrill. The groom is the son of John and Christine Reich, Merrill. Honored guests at the ceremony were the Taniguchi family and the Tsuru family, both from Japan.

Maids of honor were Andrea and Stephanie Roets, sisters of the bride, Merrill; and Ben Nicholson, Merrill, was best man.

Serving as bridesmaids were Chelsea Greene, Green Bay; and Sara Piller, Hartford. Flower girl was Shelby Pierzchalski, second cousin of the groom, Wausau.

Groomsmen included Matt Konieczka, Waukesha; Steven M. Roets, brother of the bride, Merrill; and Randy Wolf, Columbia, S.C. Ring bearer was Isaiah Reich, second cousin of the groom, Merrill.

Ushers were Matt Robinson, Neenah; and Nico Feld, Cascade.

A reception was held at the Rose Garden, Wausau. The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.

Ellie is student teaching at Denmark High School and Green Bay East High School. John works in IT support at RGL Holdings, Inc., Green Bay. The pair live in Green Bay.
