Messerschmidt-Bruck

Rebecca Messerschmidt and David Bruck, both of Rochester, Minn., were married May 13, 2006, at the Edgewood Golf Course in Lake Tahoe, Nev. Pastor James Doherty of Seattle, Wash., officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Gary Messerschmidt, Merrill. The groom is the son of Karen Bruck, Seattle, Wash.; and Allan Bruck, Boston, Mass.

The maid of honor was Carrie Rasset, Eagen, Minn.; and John Ken Ikeda, Seattle, Wash., was best man.

Ushers included Christopher Scherff and Shannon Bennett, the bride’s cousins, both of Waterford.

The bride is a graduate of Winona State University, Winona, Minn., with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is an emergency room nurse at the Olmstead Medical Center, Rochester, Minn. David is a graduate of the University of Washington with a degree in microbiology as well as a graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons Medical School, Dublin, Ireland. He completed his anesthesia residency training at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn. He is an anesthesiologist doing a fellowship specializing in cardiac anesthesia, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn.

They currently live in Rochester, Minn., and plan to move to Seattle, Wash., next year.
