---Anderson, Alice L. (10 June 1911 – 27 Feb. 2006)

Alice L. Anderson, 94, of Merrill, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill, under Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice. Born in Chicago, Ill., on June 10, 1911, Alice was the daughter of the late Phillip and Dagmar Olsen Lauren. She marriage Karl Gunnar Anderson on Nov. 29, 1970.

Alice was a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, card playing, reading, going to the casino, traveling, and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter AnnMarie Asciutto, Perkins, Mich.; sons Carl (Marilyn), Naperville, Ill.; and Arthur (Joann), Merrill; 17 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sister Jean Spletzer, Denver, Colo. She was preceded in death by her husband Karl and three brothers.

Funeral services were Saturday, March 4, at St. John Lutheran Church, town of Maine. Rev. Timothy Greenwald officiated. The Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, handled the arrangements.
